Kurt Swanson
Kurt is an experienced real estate professional helping clients to buy and sell real estate since 1990. His commitment to service, knowledge of the local market, and excellence in communication give you a competitive edge in the purchase or sale of your home, land, or commercial property. Kurt is a lifetime Bellingham resident and is married with 5 children and 7 grandchildren. He currently serves on boards for 2 nonprofits, one focused on fighting human trafficking and the other on missions work in Nepal and India. Kurt has also worked for Childcare Worldwide and Kidstown International in the past with a focus on child sponsorship. He was awarded the 2013 Whatcom County Realtor of the Year award by the Whatcom County Association of REALTORS.

Brad Howell
Brad has lived most of his life in Bellingham and made his first real estate purchase at age 20, purchasing a house for $36,000! It was a good investment! Brad spent a number of years in the outdoor sports business and a number of years in pastoral ministry before joining Windermere and teaming-up with Kurt Swanson in 2013. Brad has a BA from WWU and a M.Div. from North Park University. Brad and his wife Nancy have three grown children and eight awesome grandkids! Gabriel Swanson
Gabriel is Kurt’s oldest son and the latest addition to The Swanson Group, working with them as an assistant since 2018. His experience with all aspects of a transaction, from contract paperwork to marketing and communication, helps to ensure that your experience with the Swanson Group is smooth and effective. He graduated BTC with an associate’s degree in process technology at 19 years old and has years of experience in millwork, event coordination, live music performance and specialty tile work. “I’m grateful to be paired with some of the best agents in the county and take pride in helping buyers and sellers through the transaction process in a swift and professional way.”
