Known for the Peace Arch monument, Blaine is a city in Whatcom County, Washington, United States. The Peace Arch is an international monument located directly on the U.S.-Canada border signifying peace between the two countries. Blaine is located at the northernmost point in Washington and has a population of 3,770. It is only approximately 14 miles south of the Canadian city Surrey in British Columbia and 110 miles north of Seattle.

The Peace Arch State park is one of Blaine’s biggest attractions. The beautiful park allows visitors to walk around and enjoy both countries.  Other parks located in Blaine include Skallman Park, Montfort Park and Lincoln Park.  A short drive away is Mount Baker. This nearby attraction offers great outdoor recreation year round.
